Wow March is over!

Hey everybody.
Hope you all had a wonderful Tuesday. My day was busy! Had my last 8am class ever! It was horrible, I have always hated early morning classes, and this one was especially painful. We were presenting our essay topics and I went last! Gah! I was the 10th person of 10 people to present, and having to sit through everyone's just waiting for my term had my nerves off the charts. But, presentation went well, got some decent feedback, and calmed my nerves a little bit to actually start tackling this paper. But I did pack a delicious breakfast because I ran out of the house. It consisted of a nice serving of vanilla yogurt with bran cereal mixed in....yum!

I was too hungry to take a picture before, but this is what is left over.

I can survive 2 more essays on more exam! I can survive, I will survive.
-I need to tell myself this or I will become a bigger stress ball than I already am.

So, after class I came home to catch a quick nap, then did a little grocery shopping. I bought soy milk, chocolate chips, butter, and some juice. On my way to the grocery store I snacked on a Kashi bar, because I know how it can turn out when I go there hungry.

But, even though I wasn't starving I still bought a junky dinner, I had chicken fingers (2) and some fries. My stomach was hating me later, I haven't eaten greasy food like that in a while. But it was darn tasty.

After groceries I came home, put everything away, ate some dinner, digested in front of Friends and Family Guy. I then headed out to ball hockey. Oh how I love ball hockey, running around, sweating, hitting, shooting. It all just makes me feel so happy! We lost 2-0, but it's okay, we improved from the last time we played the same team (they are in first place) and we are still currently in second place!

Now that I am home from hockey, I just did a yoga for beginners lower body DVD, in hopes my legs won't be wrecked tomorrow. I have been a bit of a slacker this month in the gym department, between picking up extra shifts and finishing my final year I haven't been motivated, but tomorrow I am going to spin class right after my final class of university! yikes!

Anyways, now that I have finished a lovely orange, I am going to catch up on the e-mails, facebook goodness, and then shower and then bake some cookies (for soci party tomorrow in class) and read some more research!

Second post of the day:) improving!

Hey all,
Well I had a wicked post going, but then accidentally closed it instead of another window,,,, :( tear!

Today I was surprisingly productive for sleeping in until 1pm! Last night was a late one with the boy at our friends house, so sleep in was much needed, friends and work make me tired. So, once up I headed straight for the library. I got so much done! I finished two presentations, and put some finishing touches on an essay and did some research for another essay.

Tonight I presented to my class my final paper, my topic is Social exclusion within the education system due to gender and class. Basically based on hegemonic identities for masculinity and femininity and how they are restricting roles.

And tomorrow morning I present again for another class. This will be my final presentation for my university career, scary! I am presenting on my final paper topic which is the marginalization and coping techniques of women police officers. There is so much research out there I don't even know where to start or how I am going to get through it.

The end of school is near and I might be starting to freak out inside....

Also, my sleeping schedule is off the freaking wall, damn you shift work.

I eat dinner at 11pm, sleeping by 3am hopefully......Anyways dinner tonight consisted of a grilled cheese sandwhich, some veggies, and a little popcorn (which i have leftovers for snack tomorrow)

Yum, popcorn is one of my fav. snacks

mouthwateringly delish!!!!

Anyways, I am off to relax and hopefully sleep soon as my alarm is set for 6:45,,,,,booo to 8am class, although this is my last one! YAY!

NIGHT!

I am the Worst Blogger

Sorry, I am such a freaking slacker. Life has been so incredibly busy, worked Friday night at the pen, Saturday at the pen, and Saturday night at the bar, and Sunday at the pen. Wow with homework all in between.

So I convinced three of my guy friends/co-workers to watch Twilight with me last night. Ha! Just to say I think they secretly have man crushes, but would never admit it.

After a week of no ball-hockey, finally have a game tomorrow night, tres excited! Can't wait to get out and run around, this end of semester homework thing definitely puts a damper on my motivation to get out and exercise.

Also, Wednesday is my final day of classes, and being a Soc. major we are having a bit of a party during the day which is supposed to be vegan friendly. So if anyone has ideas for any goodies that are vegan friendly, send them over!

As I am in class, and it's my final 'Families' lecture, I should pay attention in hopes for exam hints. I promise to be more dedicated from my blog from now on, and will post the vegan dessert recipe I find tomorrow!

Thanks for reading,

ps....no information from customs yet,,,,,,still hoping!

Work Day

Well today, my typical Saturday is a work day x 2. I woke up, drove to work at the pen and had a huge bowl of fibre cereal with rasins. Delicious. Work went about as usual, walk, walk, and some more walk with a chicken pita for lunch in between. Now, it's winding down and I'll be off to work at the bar where I will stand, stand, more stand. It's all well and good because tomorrow is starting to look like it will be fabulous. Sleep in a little, ball hockey, dinner with the sis and b/fs x 2, and then a rollerblade to end the day on an active note. Tonight i after the bar is my usual eat-out night, so 24/hr breakfast place here we come.
That's it for now, since I still am at work, I should probably do some!

1st post ever

Ok wow,
So I am brand new to blogging, so hope who ever begins to read this they enjoy.
I started reading other people's blogs thanks to Twitter and decided to write my own.
Today, well I slept in until 2:30, I had really been aiming to get up and do homework, but that did NOT happen. So I got a bit started on my essay presentation, ate some cereal, some soup, now this. I have to work at the bar tonight, but I am hoping to get a run in before working since it is so gorgeous outside.
Anyways I think this suffices for my first post.
